Walied Hamodeh

Walied is a creative filmmaker based in Amsterdam, specialised in editing. With a strong visual instinct and an intuitive sense of rhythm, he crafts films that feel both polished and emotionally grounded. His work blends cinematic storytelling with a contemporary style, always aiming to create something that connects. In addition to editing he’s working on his own unique style together with color grading. He’s developing as a director and producer, taking on projects from concept through to the final cut.
He’s also involved in photography, bringing the same eye for composition and mood to still images as he does to film. Whether working independently or with a crew, he brings focus, intention, and creative energy to every step of the process.

Latest project

"Het Bewijs" is a short documentary I created as the final project of my study, as proof of my learning goals and the creative growth I experienced during my internship at Krab production. The film offers a personal observational glimpse into my 5 months there, showing how I developed both professionally and creatively. I aimed to deliver a story about entering the creative industry as a young filmmaker. I handled the script writing, production, and editing, with support from a friend during filming.
